When does ETEA upload results?
ETEA uploads the results on its official website about a week or two after the screening test. What is the passing mark in the ETEA test i.e. how many marks will the candidate pass?
The ETEA test is a competitive exam. Normally the passing marks of this test are 60. If a candidate gets 60% marks in the test then he will be considered as a pass.
What is the next step in passing the test?
After passing the test, the next step is to select the test passers. Assuming ten candidates are required for a job and the test has been passed by sixty candidates, different methods are used to select only ten out of sixty, one of which is the method of interview as well as other. There are many ways in which candidates are shortlisted.
Candidates who are selected are issued a call letter or they are notified by call or SMS. Candidates are given some time to take their service charge during this time. If any of these selected candidates do not take their service charge within the stipulated time, then a letter or call is made to the next candidate.
All this work is often done by the institution under which the recruitment is done. ETEA only conducts the test and gives the result but sometimes some departments hand over the entire responsibility to ETEA till the preparation of interview and merit list.
